A 2008 Nissan R35 GT-R Premium Edition running on Collecting Cars out of Officer, Victoria. Ultimate Metal Silver over black leather and Alcantara, a Japan-delivered car recently imported here, VIN 6ZZ80000R35005451. The odometer shows 37,660 kilometres, but a Nismo instrument cluster went in at 40,728 kilometres and the seller puts the true total at 78,270, not warranted. This call uses 78,270. GR6 countermeasures, cooling work, ABS and flywheel housing modifications and a NEKO transmission tune; a Revozport splitter, Zele side steps, a Top Secret diffuser, a Kansai Service wing, a valved exhaust, a later front bumper with LED running lights, Endless 380mm discs and 20-inch Advan GT forged wheels over gold Brembos. Services recorded at 44,071 and 49,079 kilometres on the cluster in 2024, with the books and two keys.

The closest car this record holds is almost this one

In August a 2008 Japan-delivered import with a bodykit, an aftermarket exhaust and 20-inch wheels made $80,000 at Nunawading on 72,595 kilometres, unregistered. It is not counted in this record's value because the record describes an Australian-delivered car, and that is why it is the right anchor here. Carried on this record's curve to 78,270 kilometres it is $78,900.

The model's own rows get there too, once the import row is taken at what the room has charged

Against the $79,000 base: plus 6.7 for 78,270 kilometres against the 112,500 this record expects of a 2008 car, minus 6 for a 2008 build ahead of the run, plus 3 for the Premium interior, and the import row's minus 12 taken at a third, minus 4 (D95). Composed, minus 0.8 per cent, and $78,400. The aero parts, the exhaust and the wheels would take about 4 more at a third of the table, $75,300, and that is the low reading.

The call is $77,000,

Between the anchor and the low reading. The gearbox work is not credited: countermeasures on a GR6 are what a buyer of a 2008 car hopes to find, and no result here shows the room paying extra for them. Predicted hammer $59,500 to $98,000, midpoint $77,000. Fifteen Australian results stand behind this record, so the band is the measured interval for two or more, minus 23 and plus 27.

What would put it over

A sorted gearbox and a full set of forged wheels and brakes is much of the shopping list already done.

What would put it under

Of the four imported R35s this desk watched close from August, one sold, and an odometer that needs a sentence to explain it is a question every bidder will ask.

Where this number came from

The call is a prediction of one hammer. The record behind it is the Australian evidence for the model as a whole, and it carries its own grade for how much of that evidence exists.
