What moves the price on this model
Condition, history, originality, ownership, delivery and modification multipliers apply to every car in the library. They are applied automatically when an advertisement is analysed, and the schedule is set out once, on the analyser page.

The case for and against
The last EJ-engined STI and the last one sold manual-only, which is the pattern that has put a floor under every earlier generation in this library. Four Australian results now sit behind the figure, which is more transaction evidence than most records here carry.
A 2015-21 car still inside ordinary depreciation, with an estimated 3,800 Australian survivors, so this is not yet a scarcity play and the price history shows the fall rather than a recovery. The EJ257 carries ringland risk on tuned cars and a genuinely stock tune has to be verified rather than assumed. The distance term is blended from three confounded results, not measured.
Known faults and risks
Similar cars, and what they cost to run
The library carried the GD STI (2003-05) and the GRB (2008-14) and then stopped, so the entire VA generation - the last EJ-engined STI Subaru built, and the one most likely to be collected - had nowhere to sit. Four Australian results are now available and they are enough to open it.

$45,500 at 7,773km in Werribee, Victoria, April 2024; $42,550 at 26,553km at Sans Souci, New South Wales, April 2024; and $36,000 at 113,085km for a 2015 Premium in South Yarra, July 2022.
The two April 2024 cars are 18,780 kilometres and 6.5 per cent apart, which reads as 3.5 per cent per 10,000 kilometres - but they are also a 2021 and a 2018, so model year is doing part of that work. The 2015 car is from a different market moment two years earlier. kmPct is set at 2.0 as a blend of the three and this record does NOT claim to have measured it, which is the honest position on three confounded points.
A 2016 S207 made $54,000 at 69,388km in Zetland, New South Wales in December 2025. The S207 is a 400-car JDM limited edition, not an Australian-delivered STI, and against what a standard car at that distance supports - roughly $38,900 - it carries about a 39 per cent premium. That premium is real and it is not this record. If S207s start appearing here regularly they need their own entry, exactly as the SP does on the MX-5 side.
Production, survivor and running-cost figures are carried from the GRB record and adjusted, not independently established. They should be treated as estimates until replaced.
This is the end of the EJ line and the last manual-only STI, which is the pattern that has formed a floor under every previous generation in this library - but it is a 2015-21 car still inside ordinary depreciation, and the history below says so.

The evidence on this model is thin and the report says so on its cover. Read a complete one on a real car first. Seventeen sections, no account, nothing to pay.
One line of email when this desk publishes a call on a Subaru WRX STI VA, or records a new Australian sale of one. Nothing else, no schedule, and on a quiet model you may hear nothing for months, which is itself worth knowing about a car you are chasing.
